Do I need a developer, or to change my store?
No. You sign in to Shopify and to Facebook and click a few buttons. There is no code to add and nothing to change in your theme. Most people are set up in about 2 minutes.
Do I still need the Meta Pixel?
Keep it if you have it: the two work together. The pixel reports from the shopper's browser, where ad blockers and privacy settings often stop it. PixlBridge sends your visits and sales to Meta from our server, so Meta still sees them. Meta Pixel vs Conversions API
Will Meta count my sales twice?
Not because of PixlBridge: it sends each sale once. If another app also sends your purchases with its own IDs (most often Meta's own Facebook & Instagram app at its Maximum data-sharing setting), Meta can count them twice. Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Customer details such as email and phone are SHA-256 hashed (scrambled one way) before they're stored or sent to Meta. Your Facebook and Shopify logins are kept encrypted, each business only ever sees its own data, and the tracking on your store follows your store's cookie-consent settings. How we keep your data safe
